Monica Bruin
Color My Nails School of Nail Technology was founded in 1984 by
Monica Bruin. Monica has been in the nail industry for over 20 years
opening four salons including a tanning salon. Monica serves as
the Chair person for the Division of Occupational and Professional
Licensing board for the state of Utah and was one who helped in
the legislature towards licensing nail technicians in the cosmetology
industry. She currently owns, Color My Nails salon which has been
in business for 20 years with 30 nail technicians and is currently
one of the largest nail salons in Utah. Monica started teaching
nail classes in her salon and continued teaching until the state
approved licensing for nail technicians in 2001. In May of 2002
Monica opened Color My Nails School of Nail Technology, first "Nails
Only" licensed Nail school in the State Of Utah.

Megan Harrison
Megan became affiliated with Color My Nails School in April 2003
as a student. Although Megan had done nails before she enjoyed her
learning experience at CMN School. After graduating from school,
Megan became the Administrative Assistant at the school and started
her career as a nail technician at Color My Nails salon in June
of 2003. Since then, Megan has gone on to receive her Educators
License and is currently working at the school as the morning Theory/Practical
Instructor as well as Director of the school. Megan is happy to
be working in the industry not only as a nail technician but as
an educator as well, helping to form a strong relationship between
student and educator. She feels it is important to educate and help
students understand all the fun, and exciting opportunities that
await them in the nail technology world.

Dixie Davis
Dixie is our substitute educator. She began her nail career at Color
My Nails salon in March of 1996 right after finishing nail classes,
which at the time where taught by Monica at the salon. She’s
currently running her nail business from her home as well as teaching
the Electric File theory class once a month at the school. Dixie
received her Educators license and joined the “CMN team”
in May of 2002. Dixie enjoys her time at the school. She loves teaching
and helping to build and grow the industry, filling it with fantastic
nail technicians.

Valerie Taylor
Dependable, Dedicated and go, go, go is how we describe Val at CMN
School. Valerie graduated from CMN School in July of 2004 and joined
our team in August 2004 as the morning session, practical floor
assistant. Val loves doing nails at her home salon, but she truly
loves her time at the school and thoroughly enjoys helping students
with hands on, one-on-one education. Valerie is currently working
on getting her Instructor's License.

Brecc Bruin
Brecc has been a licensed nail technician for 3 years and has worked
for Color My Nails School for 2 years. Brecc started as an evening
receptionist and is currently assisting on the practical floor during
the evening session. Brecc is on the ball and thorough with her
tasks and loves providing students with new, fun ways to develop
their newly found talents.

Katie Logan
Katie began her nail career as a student at CMN School in August
of 2002. Katie loved her time as a student and looked forward to
growing her nail business. Monica saw this great enthusiasm and
asked Katie to help her at the school as an evening assistant. Katie
is currently working at Color My Nails salon as well as at the school
and is student teaching the Aroma-Therapy class to help towards
receiving her Educators license. Katie loves her work at the school
and really enjoys helping students find their place in the nail
industry.

Receptionists
Stephanie
Stephanie found her place in the nail industry first as a receptionist
at the Color My Nails salon. After working there for about a year,
Stephanie found that she loved the theory of nails and wanted to
be a part of the industry. Stephanie became a student of CMN School
and is now the morning receptionist. Stephanie is dedicated to the
nail technology field and is excited to grow with her experiences.
Mika
Mika is currently attending the Salt Lake Community College and
is an evening receptionist, a licensed nail technician and loves
working at the school.
Aubrey
Aubrey just joined the CMN team the month and is working as an evening
receptionist. She loves her job and thinks Color My Nails School
is the greatest place on earth!
